The Night Of Hope Foundation

The Night of Hope Foundation, established nearly a decade ago to benefit Sidney and Cheyenne County, is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local cancer patients. Funds generated through the Night of Hope are used to support and uplift our friends and neighbors battling cancer.

Tax deductible contributions to the foundation are put to good use through a variety of programs and services. Funding is used, in part, to provide vouchers for fuel, food and lodging if travel is required for treatment. more...

The Night of Hope Walk For Cancer - our signature event - is our annual walk which takes place each August. This year’s celebration will be the evening of August 10, 2012 at Sidney’s Legion Park around the pond. This year we will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Night of Hope Foundation. The theme for this year's walk is Walk this Way: Surviving like Rock Stars. Participants are asked to pick their favorite decade of Rock and Roll music, decorate their team campsite and dress the part, but remember to include your Night of Hope T-shirt in your attire. Which decade will reign supreme, the 50's, 60's, 70's or maybe the 2000's. You'll have to join us to find out. The event begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m.

In addition to music, food and guest speakers we will celebrate those lives touched by cancer with a time of remembrance during the luminary ceremony and slide show presentation at dusk. more...
